Let me tell you a quick story.
Last year, we moved house, and while it was an exciting change, there was one big challenge—my older son was still attending his school on the other side of town. Even though it was just within the same city, the school run, with all the traffic, was taking nearly an hour each drop! We tried to get him into a closer school, but with a long waiting list, we had no luck.
My younger son, however, got a spot in a nearby school, so our mornings became this mad rush—dropping off one son nearby, then rushing across town for the other. It was chaotic, to say the least!
Then, in September, a stroke of luck: my older son finally got into the school close to us. Now, both boys attend the same nearby school, and it’s been a game changer. It takes just 5 minutes by car—or 13 minutes if we walk.
Mornings are so much calmer now. Not only that, but the boys come home full of energy, instead of falling asleep in the car after a long, exhausting journey. And I can’t tell you how much time this change has freed up for us. I gained back nearly 1 to 2 hours every day, which has made family life smoother, and work life more manageable.
Why am I telling you this?
Well, at first, I thought we could manage the old routine. But experiencing the impact of a small change—moving to a closer, better-rated school—made me realise just how much these “routine” things affect our overall well-being. Sometimes, we keep going with our daily grind, thinking it’s fine, but refining the routine can give us more energy and time for the unexpected challenges that come our way.
It’s the same in regulatory affairs. You can plan your day to the minute, but there’s always something unexpected popping up. If you’re feeling overwhelmed trying to manage both the routine tasks and the surprises, let us help.
